We hear about these Independent voters all the time and that you have to have them to win. But what is an independent voter? What do they stand for? We know what both Liberal and Conservatives and even Libertarians stand for, but the Independents. So why worry about what they think? Stand on your beliefs and they will follow you. Look at the last mid-term elections the Independents had buyer’s remorse on Obama and the direction he was taking this country and the Democrats were killed in the mid-terms. See I believe that most if not all Independents are Conservatives at heart. They don’t want this out-of-control spending that’s been going on the like few years under both Bush and Obama. They want a reasonable government. Yes, I know reasonable and government don’t go together very well. If Republicans want these valuable Independence so bad they better start standing up for True Conservative Beliefs or they will lose them. Maybe not to the Democrats, but to a 3rd party which would still give the Democrats the win. Everyone knows the Independence have left the Liberal/Democrat party if the Republicans have any chance of getting them they have to give them what they want. If the 2010 mid-terms was any indication the Independence want a smaller government and stop with all this spending. At the end of the day an Independent is nothing more than a closest Conservative on most issues. So it’s time to bring them out of the closest in show them that this time we are serious about cutting government. If the Republicans can do that than before long there won’t be any Independence to fight over. True Conservative values and God will win out every time over anything else.
Now that the FCC has their foot in the internet looks like they are heading after cell phones.
Why is it that the government wants into the internet and now cell phones so badley? The superem court has said they have no aduority on the web, but that didn’t stop them from passing Net Neutraility. Could it be that internet business now makes up 1/6 of the economy? Yes, that’s right internet business is the same percentage of the economy as health care. So by the government taking control of the internet and health care they would control 2/6 of the economy. WOW is right.
The FCC says they have to have Net Neutraility because the evil companies block or slow down me from getting to some sites. The FCC will make it fair. When was the last time the government made anything fair or better?
The internet is the most freest thing we have in America. I can look up anything I want, connect to people all around the world, or like this site create a blog for people with similar or different views to talk about them. Heck I can even play games and watch movies and tv problems, listen to music or the radio. The internet sounds pretty free to me. But now the FCC is going to protect me from my evil internet provider. Apparently they have been keeping me from getting to sites I want to visit and sending me to sites they want me to view. Isn’t that the same thing the government is now trying to do with Net Neutraility?
This is what you can expect when you let government create an agency such as the FCC to create rules and regulations. All they want to do is continue to grow and gain more power and money.
Some my ask I thought it was congress’s job to pass laws to protect us not some agency. Well I guess not. Why do we even need the FCC? The FCC controls our speach by creating rules. We don’t need them it’s just a $335 billion a year waste.
Letting people have the right to choose is the answer. I can choose which internet company I want to go with and then which package I want. When I go on the internet I can chose which sites I go to and not. But not once the government gets their hands on it. Think about it what has the government done to make your life work better than the private sector does. That’s why the FCC should be called the Federal Censorship Commission.
I just read an article about Cuba will begin driling in the Gulf of Mexico. I find this interesting because Obama won’t allow the US to drill there, but it’s okay for Cuba. Who has higher environmental standards the US or Cuba? If you said the US than you would be right. So knowing this if there is going to be drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and you care about the environment than wouldn’t it make more sense to let the US do the drilling than some other country?
This also goes right with the US making a $2 billion investment in Brazil for deep sea drilling a week ago. Obama said he hopes the US will be the largest buyer of their oil. Why would Obama want the US to be the number one buyer of oil there I thought we were moving away from oil? I thought oil was the energy of the past and we are moving toward the future of energy whatever that means. But with unemployment so high wouldn’t it make more sense for Obama to invest $2 billion in US oil drilling? Just think of how many jobs that would create? I am not for government subsizings any business, but if we are going to give money away at least be a US owned and operated one.
Can someone explain why Obama is doing this? Is it because he feels the US is only the greatest country in the world because it robbed other countries of their resources (even though we buy them)? It is just interesting how Obama says oil is the engery of the past, but yet we invest $2 billion into Brazil for oil drilling and now let Cuba drill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Does Obama feel that the US has been on top long enough and this is a way to bring us down and other countries up? I think we all know the answer to that one.
